Please note: as with everything involving the human body and it's own healing response, results can by no means be guaranteed or even predicted. Everyone responds differently, will have a different experience and respond in a different way. The above list are just potential responses described for infrared sauna therapy.
Why infrared? It penetrates deeper into the body at lower temperatures. Many heavy duty toxins like heavy metals are stored in body fat which resides deeper than skin level.Normal steam / hot rock saunas only penetrate the skin level while infrared penetrates about 4.5cm which allows it to stimulate skin, muscle and fat tissue as well.Infrared is the most healing component of sunlight and most of us don't get anywhere near enough, especially in winter.

What you need to know
The less clothing you wear inside the sauna the better. Go naked if you choose (the room is all yours for your allocated time) or wear loose clothing to allow for optimal lymphatic and blood circulation. A loose, natural fibre T-shirt is ideal.
