Initial Consultation
(Getting to know you) After writing out your life history you will be asked to wear a gorgeous 'hospital like' gown. You'll share your life history with someone who cares. We'll rock you like a baby, tap, poke and prod, watch you move and otherwise assess you. If we decide to take a deeper look, we'll take some stunning images of your skeleton (x-rays) and possibly even remind you of forgotten stories from your past. We'll point out your physical quirks and interpret what they mean in your language. At this stage, if we agree you are in the right place, you'll be adjusted (clunked) if required and instructed on how you can help yourself or what other actions you may need to take. Throughout this visit, you will also be given plenty of opportunities to ask questions and make sure we are all on the same page. We ask that you leave an hour free so we can get all the information we need to look after you as best we can. Standard Consultation (Regular Heart to Heart) You get an opportunity to tell your woes to someone who cares and actually wants to hear about your ailments. We'll laugh (sometimes at your expense). We'll rock you like a baby, check from head to toe if you like, clunk and pop (otherwise known as adjust), poke, instruct and educate as required and aim to leave you saying "ah, that feels so much better." Re-examination (Welcome Home) If you've been MIA for more than a year, we ask you to come in a little early to update us on anything that may have changed over the time since we last worked with you. We need to know if you have had any accidents, have new medication or have a different problem altogether. We just need to get re-acquainted with your body and make sure we can still help you. Once we know we are on the same page, we will go through the usual routine of checking and adjusting as required followed by any instructions necessary to get you feeling great again. We love catching up with old friends! Full Spine X-rays - when required (Pictures of your skeleton) Sometimes we take pictures of your skeleton. Looking at these pictures can tell us a story of some of the chapters of your life so far. They can also help us to personalise our treatment even more around your individual design quirks. |
Paediatric Initial Consultation (Our first D&M) With the help of your little green book, we'll learn all your secrets so far. With plenty of goo-ing and gar-ing, we'll gently move, feel and test the way your brain connects with your body and the way your joints work together. We'll chat with Mummy and/ or Daddy and explain your nuances, what we can do that might help and what Mummy and Daddy can do to help you grow up strong and smart. Please allow an hour to play with Dr Belinda (chiropractor). Paediatric Standard Consultation (Play Date) Plenty of goo-ing, cooing and gentle checking. We'll check in with Mum or Dad to see if you've been behaving ('cos Santa's too busy to keep us in the loop too). A bit of tweaking if needed then your least favourite bit - you'll have to get your clothes back on. Really good kids get a sticker or a balloon or sometimes even bubbles! Paediatric Re-examination (Time to show off your new skills) You grow so fast it's hard to keep track! To keep on top of all your new skills, we spend a bit more times playing games and having you show us your latest talents. I mean, who doesn't love to show off what you can do! And what would a visit be with out a sticker or balloon for your great behaviour. |
