Oxygen is essential to life especially. Breathing allows you to get oxygen in. To breathe, your chest wall (ribs and spine) must work in harmony with your diaphragm effectively moving air in and out as a result of this movement.
If your thoracic spine (mid back) and ribs are not working optimally, your chest expansion may be reduced meaning you may not be able to breathe fully.
